Investors (average processing time is 18 months)
The Immigrant Investor Program seeks to attract experienced business people to invest C$400,000 or C$120,000 into Canada’s economy, Investors must:
- Show that they have 2 years business experience at his or her home country in the past 5 year and
- Have a minimum net worth of C$800,000 (between husband’s and wife’s assets) that was obtained legally and
- Make a C$400,000 investment by blocking them for 5 years and two months with no interest or pay 120,000 Canadian Dollars after they pass the selection interview.
Steps
As for the investors who want to process an application to Canada, your business or the business you work for has to be qualified, to assess the business we follow the following major steps:
- The business has to be at least 2 years old (registered at the Ministry of Industry and trade since 2 years). (Law says that you the business has to be active for at least 2 years in the past five years prior to submitting the application to Canada).
- The business shall show balance sheets (audited by an accounting firm) for the 5 proceeding years from the date we apply (if the business is 5 years old).
- The person applying has either fully own the business or own a part of the business (official ownership that is registered the partnership agreement of the company at the Ministry), the person applying has to be involved in the management of the business (and not just owning the business).
- Kindly note that you do qualify as well if you do not and never owned a business BUT you have been handling a “TOP SENIOR” position at a company, have control over financial and human resources factors at the company and at least 2 employees report to you.
- The person applying has to have net assets of 800 thousand Canadian Dollars (total asset means: the value of his share of the company (if applicable), real estate, cash, stocks etc...)
If all above conditions are met, then we can start the process; steps are:
Quebec investor
- We process your file to the Quebec authorities in Canada (where your interview will take place in Montreal or in Syria in 6 - 8 months from the date we start, sometimes the interview might be waived), (if an interview is required, a lawyer from our office will attend along).
- The Quebec officer will reveal his decision at the end of the interview (it's our responsibility to have a positive result), the officer will give you 110 days to transfer the funds (this is when you can transfer either the full 400 thousand Canadian Dollars which you get back in 5 years at zero interest or pay 120 thousand Canadian dollars as the interest for that money and you do not get them back).
- After you transfer the money, the Quebec officer will issue an official acceptance document called (Quebec certificate of selection), meaning that the Quebec government has chosen you, your wife and children for immigration.
- We put your file in the hands of the Federal Government of Canada supporting it with the "Quebec certificate of selection", this will obligate the Federal Government of Canada to issue your landing visa (for you, your wife and children) after they check upon both security and medical factors (this process is around 6 - 9 months process).
- After that, you will have the grace period or around 7 months to land in Canada along with your family...
Fees are two parts
The Canadian Government fees (government fees to be paid in the form of a draft check that you issue):
A - Quebec fees - to be paid by draft check beginning of the process- they are 3850 Canadian dollars for the main applicant - which is you and 150 Canadian Dollars for each other member of your family.
B - Federal Government fees - To be paid by draft check too - they are 1050 Canadian dollars for your, 550 Canadian dollars for your wife and 150 Canadian dollars for each dependent child. .... there are also Federal Landing fees which are 490 Canadian dollars / Adult (those are to be paid right before the immigration officer issues your landing visa).
Professional fees (our fees)
6,500 U.S Dollars, paid on two allotments which are (3,500 upon signing of the contract -which is at the very beginning-) and (3,000 upon the approval of the Quebec officer - which is at the interview).
Our fees are fully refundable if you were not accepted for any other reason than Medical or Security.
